“I want to win. And I feel Ferrari is the best opportunity to succeed in the future.
“I have followed this brand for as long as I can remember, it is a name that means a lot, I am convinced that the team will improve and can give me a competitive car. The decision was simple,” replied the Spaniard.
Several fans would laugh at the possibility, but if Sainz sees the scope, he should pursue it. However, it will be better for the Spaniard to have a good look at the car before racing with it. Once he unlocks the mystery of the car, it will be far easier for him.
Sainz understands the stress he will be under at Ferrari. He will replace Vettel and team, and race alongside Leclerc, a driver that has outperformed a former champion. Thus, he will have to be extra cautious of every step he takes at the Italian Camp.
