One of the most eagerly anticipated events for the Formula One fraternity is the FIA’S prize-giving feast. The occasion is conducted each year to present awards to the FIA racing series champions. This time, the night belonged to Red Bull and company, who took home both the driver’s and the constructor’s championships. With all this, a moment occurred in the ceremony that even Horner wasn’t prepared to handle as he grabbed the trophy in the centre of the platform. F1 fans can’t stop crying after the FIA’s Top Dog’s on-stage meltdown with the Red Bull boss.

Post receiving the trophy, Red Bull boss Christian Horner went vocal about the team’s performance but as soon as the Briton finished his speech, the FIA president Ben Sulayem replied with a playful jab at Horner. The FIA president cited a joke about the Japanese GP. Actually, at the Suzuka Circuit, there was confusion over the Dutchman’s title as it’s the same race where Max Verstappen was named the champion of season 2022. At that time, the governing body received heavy scrutiny from the fans as the FIA, despite the race distance not being completed, awarded Max Verstappen with full points.

With all this, as soon as the Briton completed his speech, Ben Sulayem held his mic on the stage and said, “Japan, you said, was controversial? No! The FIA was blamed for the points, but it was not the FIA who made the rules it was the teams who made the rules, and we were implementing them. So thank you for that.”
Horner was a little taken aback by the timing of the entire clarification, and things would have become more awkward if F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali hadn’t intervened to stop Sulayem. The whole situation had made the Twitter F1 fans active as the fans are left cringing all over.

Fans were found taking digs at Red Bull following how controversial this year had been for the Milton Keynes side.
FIA President Sulayem: This cup has nothing to do with the cost cap, okay?
Horner: "That's very generous, thank you…"

Before he was stopped, MBS was seemingly about to say to Horner, “thank you for the chaos”. Probably wise that Stefano stopped him from causing a full-blown slanging match on stage.
