The circus is in town, and the chaos is maddening. We are talking about the much-debated build-up to the race weekend disaster of the Las Vegas GP. The debate seems to be getting more heated as the race weekend draws closer and we now have the fans’ perspective on what a disaster it is turning out to be.

However, calling the people who are suffering from the highly anticipated weekend’s preparation fans would be misleading. In fact, the residents of Vegas and the tourists might be put off from F1 for life thanks to the absolute state chaos the city of Vegas is in currently.

Vegas is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world known for its extravagant and indulging nightlife. However, there’s not much to see if your view is blocked for most of the incredible sights in the city, and getting it to one is impossible if you don’t pay a heavy fee. This is exactly what YouTube hosts discussed in their latest video on their P1 with Matt and Tommy channel.

“You’re charging an outrageous amount just to be there anyway, still put up the right parameters in order to not cause massive congestion in certain parts where people might be peeing over a wall or something but you have to integrate rather than be like, ‘well the circus is here, you have to pay a $1000 to get in or you’re not even getting a sniff of it,” said Matt.

Agreeing with Matt’s opinion, Tommy pointed out, how the tourists can’t see a lot of landmarks and trees are being chopped up in preparation for just the Las Vegas GP. He said, “If I was a tourist going to Vegas like say not knowing anything about the Grand Prix, a lot of the landmarks you can’t even see. they have chopped down trees and things like that.”

The two YouTubers are speaking the masses’ tongue, as we have seen many angry fans express similar opinions. However, Tommy came up with a solution that F1 is failing to see.

The chaos ahead of the Las Vegas GP hampering the sport’s reputation

The YouTuber pointed out how the fans are suffering because of the massive construction and restrictions on the road in the buildup to the race. There are residents who are suffering because of the massive traffic diversions and whatnot. This is exactly what is putting the fans off of the sport and the owners need to take steps to change this outlook. This is exactly what Tommy pointed out.

“Surely a good way is for these residents that have been making all these videos and YouTube videos and stuff about like this is an absolute joke, you’re not going to be able to stand this for another 10 years. It’s absolutely ridiculous, the traffic’s awful like can’t get to work. Can’t do this, can’t do that is make them fall in love with F1, right?” said Tommy.

However, as we know, the sport is doing the exact opposite of this and making the lives of the residents a living hell and we might see some pushback in the future if this continues.
