It seems like the TikTok fever has taken over the F1 grid lately. As far as Alpine drivers are concerned, they definitely have got the bug. We recently saw Pierre Gasly act out in a TikTok video with F1 content creator Lissie Mackintosh. Now it’s his new teammate, Esteban Ocon. Ocon, like his fellow Frenchman, did not do a bit of a low-effort appearance, but went all in, performing a full routine with Lissie. The Alpine man was so off-sync that fans found it too cute to not blush about. One even wondered if this was the same man who fought tooth and nail against the mighty Fernando Alonso last year.

It is not Ocon and Gasly who started the recent F1 drivers-TikTok trend. The unlikeliest of them all, Max Verstappen did. The Dutch lion performed a routine with Red Bull content creator Elly before acting in another one with his boss Christian Horner. Later we learned that his 41-year-old grid mate Fernando Alonso had joined as well, going for the long haul by creating his own account.

The host of the Going Purple podcast, Lissie Mackintosh, recently connected with the Alpine drivers. As is the case with most of her other collaborations, this one seems to have been fun as well, if we are to go by her Instagram posts. We don’t know how she convinced him, but Esteban looked pretty happy performing to the tune of Miguel’s hit song ‘Sure Thing’.
