Although sometimes Jos’s approach has been deemed a little overboard, Max has previously insisted that it has helped shaped him to be the driver he is today.

Verstappen also repaid all his father’s efforts by clinching the Driver’s Championship in 2021. He currently leads the 2022 championship as well. Now, Max hopes to secure victory at the Canadian GP as a present to his father on the occasion of fathers day.
