After the French Grand Prix, the Formula One paddock heads to Austria for a double-header at the Red Bull Ring. Furthermore, what makes the upcoming race so exciting, is the possibility of rain changing the dynamic of the entire race.
Fans of Lewis Hamilton might rejoice, as he is one of the fastest drivers on a wet track, as seen at last year’s qualifying in Austria, where he took pole positions with a lead of over 1.2 seconds.
So, as championship leader Max Verstappen aims to keep Hamilton behind him in the standings, he stays wary of what the Mercedes driver can do in rain-soaked condition.

Then later, at the French Grand Prix, it looked like Hamilton was set to win the race and bridge the four-point gap to Verstappen. However, the Dutch driver overtook him in the closing laps of the race and earned twenty-five points, and an extra one for having the fastest lap. It extended his lead in the title race by twelve points and hopes to increase the gap heading into the next race.
But with conditions favoring him for the Styrian Grand Prix, Lewis might use this as his chance to take the fight to the Red Bull prodigy and regain the lead for the 2021 championship.
