Every driver in Formula 1 is unique and they all have unique driving styles. It is rare to see those subtle differences during a race with cars moving at 200+ miles an hour. However, there are instances when we see F1 drivers take on the wheel to drive on streets like normal human beings. That is when we get to witness these differences and gimmicks that set these drivers apart from the rest. In this article, we will see what sets Charles Leclerc apart thanks to Lando Norris.

We are all aware Norris was extremely unhappy with Leclerc during the Monaco GP qualifying for his inattentive and dangerous maneuver during qualifying. However, with a penalty to Leclerc and the race past us, the two have clearly buried the hatchet. How can we be sure? Well, a look at Norris’s Instagram story is proof enough.

Norris shared a video that reads, “OMG OMG OMG @charles_leclerc” followed by a heart eye emoji. The video is of Leclerc driving his Ferrari, possibly on his way to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. However, the most eye-catching part of the video was how Leclerc was driving.

Leclerc was sitting upright and extremely close to the steering wheel, almost leaning forward to look at the road in front. Not to be insensitive, but the general perception is that how old people drive.

Norris might’ve forgiven Leclerc for his reckless error in Monaco. However, the Monegasque might not forgive Norris for exposing him like that, even if it was unintentional.

We are not sure if this is a result of driving a car upright for most of his career or if it’s just personal preference. Whatever it may be, the fans will not let this die down.
