Lewis Hamilton, after an incredible comeback race in Spain, is looking down on his luck in Monaco. The Mercedes W13, showing little to no signs of porpoising in Spain, is bouncing again in Monaco. During FP1 and FP2 of the Monaco Grand Prix, Lewis complained about the car bouncing again.

Mercedes was probably relieved after the performances in the Spanish Grand Prix. However, their persistent porpoising problem is back, and we heard the same in Lewis’s exchange on the team radio. The 7-time world champion complained about the bouncing extensively during FP1.

It’s a difficult situation for the Mercedes team and Lewis as they battle the situation once again. However, it’s a different feel as compared to the previous porpoising issue. The confused Briton explained, “As I said, it’s different to when we were having bouncing hitting. It is bouncing, but it’s a different kind of feel. There are like 100 bumps on just one straight. So I don’t know how it is for the others, or whether or not they’re experiencing the same as us. But it’s the bumpiest rollercoaster ride ever.”

The Monaco circuit is not an easy circuit, and Lewis constantly complaining about the bouncing and the discomfort should worry the team.  Mercedes needs an answer to this problem soon, especially, heading toward the all-important qualifying.
