Lewis Hamilton extended his record of most Formula 1 race wins with another comfortable P1 finish at Imola Grand Prix. He even joined Daniel Ricciardo in his shoey celebration and had the taste of that toe jam success.
Martin Brundle, a proud member of the shoey club gave his verdict on the weekend at Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. He discussed the race, the heartbreaks, the podiums, and everything else from the race weekend.
At the end of his report, he mentioned how Hamilton continues to tease the Formula 1 community by stating that it is not certain that he will come back to the grid next year.

“Meanwhile Hamilton continues to tease and torment with comments such as ‘it’s not certain I’ll be on the grid next year’, when of course he will be,” wrote Brundle.

Will Lewis Hamilton stay on the grid for 2021?
Lewis Hamilton has been racing in Formula 1 for more than a decade. Mika Hakkinen recently extended his admiration to the world champion for maintaining his focus over such a long duration.
Currently, Hamilton has still not signed a deal with the Mercedes F1 team for next season. Lewis’ contract ends at the end of this year. It has been reported that Hamilton is also trying to figure out the duration of his new contract.

On one hand, Toto Wolff has expressed that he would like to close the deal before Christmas as they are on a deadline. Meanwhile, Lewis has expressed that he wants to focus on the races. He stated that after the races are done, we can sit and discuss the terms and come to a consensus.
Martin Brundle is certain the Lewis Hamilton will be on the grid next year. He holds the record for most pole positions and broke Schumacher’s record of most Formula 1 race wins.
Currently, he has set the stage to secure his 7th world championship title. With a win at the Turkish Grand Prix, he will equal Schumacher’s record of seven title wins. Lewis Hamilton is currently dominating the Formula 1 world.
