Carlos Sainz waited more than a year for his custom Ferrari 812 Competizione to arrive. The wait was finally over when he reached the Maranello factory with Charles Leclerc to get the car. As the Spaniard reached the factory keeping up with the festive vibe, his teammate looked rather uninterested.

Ever since turning 18, Carlos Sainz has humbly driven a Volkswagen Golf. The car remained close to his heart as it was a special gift from his parents. Last year he finally retired the car and decided to get a customized 812 Competizione. Sainz participated with enthusiasm in choosing what exactly he needed in his supercar.
Carlos Sainz finally gets his dream car
Carlos posted a video on his YouTube channel last year where he took us through the Maranello factory. Pondering over what he wanted the car to be like, the Spaniard was left in quite a dilemma. He said, “The car itself is really beautiful; for me, it’s the most beautiful car as of right now, that’s why I decided to buy it. But I’m having serious doubts on whether to make it really racing and aggressive or more elegant, more smooth operator.”
As it turned out, he went with the latter approach. As we saw the car in its final shape and form, it had a suave looking badge that read: “smooth operator.”
Have a look at how fans reacted to him reaching the factory with teammate Charles Leclerc. One fan even cheekily commented on Charles Leclerc’s reaction to the car as if he was thinking “brother what the f*ck is this.”

As per TopGear, the 812 Competizione can cost upwards of $540,000. Put customizations on top of that and it could cost anywhere around $150,000 more. Sporting a 6.5-liter V12 engine, it is one of the best supercars on the planet right now.
HE GOT AN 812 COMP?? I thought he was ordering an F8 or 296.

Some fans were more interested in Sainz’s outfit. Keeping with the Christmas mood, he sported a Santa hat and a red sweater.
