McLaren will have a new driver pilot their car for the upcoming 2021 season in the form of Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian, coming in from Renault, will replace Carlos Sainz, and team up with Lando Norris.
Having spent two years with Renault, he will bring a lot of his knowledge to the Woking-based team. His final season there saw the Honeybadger get on the podium twice.
Ricciardo not only brings in experience having driven for Red Bull and Renault, but he also brings in a winning mentality, which McLaren can certainly use at the moment.
