The Formula 1 community is waiting to see Fernando Alonso making his comeback next season. The Spaniard is set to reunite with his championship-winning constructor, Renault, as the team rebrand themselves as Alpine.

Alonso won his 2 championships with Renault back in 2005 and 2006. He is making his comeback as Daniel Ricciardo is making a move to McLaren. Meanwhile, Alonso’s former rival predicts the possible outcome of this comeback.

Pedro de la Rosa, former Spanish F1 driver, and Alonso’s rival reckons that the comeback could be worth it. He said, “He loves F1, Alonso is back, the boss of 2021 is back. These last few years away from the sport have made him appreciate F1.
