Red Bull, without a doubt, has emerged as a dominant team in F1 in the 2022 season. A big part of the credit, along with Max Verstappen’s insane driving skills, goes toward the RB18’s development. Red Bull was ahead of the game when it came to its machine- all thanks to their chief technical officer and absolute legend of the sport, Adrian Newey.

Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, is in absolute awe of their aerodynamicist. Before Adrian, the Milton Keynes based team did have a goal, however, they lacked the road map that led them to it.

Horner, sharing his thoughts about Adrian, said, “What was missing was a clear technical direction. I’d always been a fan of Adrian’s and his cars going way back to the Leyton House times in the late 1980s.”

“Adrian was the very best that’s ever been in Formula 1. It was a question of how could we entice Adrian to join the Red Bull team.”

In order to highlight the remarkable qualities that Newey possesses, Horner exclaimed, “(Adrian is) the only bloke that can see air. He lives in the matrix,” he said, in conclusion.
