Toto Wolff has helped guide Mercedes through one of the most dominant eras by an F1 team. The Austrian has seen his team win 8 consecutive constructor titles.

Naturally, being the team principal of Mercedes F1 has multitudes of perks, One of which is having an array of stellar Mercs to drive. Toto was recently spotted driving the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

It came with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine producing about 215 horsepower at 5,800 rpm. This allows the 2-door coupe to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 8.8 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph. These numbers are quite impressive considering it is a ‘supercar’ from the 1950s.

The car costs around a whopping $1.4 Million and is extremely rare to come by. There were only a limited number of them produced, which further makes them one of the most iconic cars in the world.

Toto Wolff is one of the lucky men to be able to take this machine out for a casual driver whenever he likes. Former Mercedes driver, Nico Rosberg is another who belongs to the elite club and drives the 300 SL.

The 300 SL is one of the rarest cars in the world to come by. Mercedes only built 3,258 cars, out of which only 1400 were coupes. The stunning car also saw the debut of the iconic Gullwing doors.

The Former F1 world champion took his followers on a virtual tour of Monaco in his beautiful 1955 Mercedes 300SL. The video featured the car’s quirky ignition process, coupled with the original leather seating.

Rosberg appeared to have a blast while taking his beauty of a car for a spin and did nothing to hide the unusual kinks of the almost 70-year-old car. He even went on to push the car to its limits, all the way up to its 130F optimal engine oil temperature. Rosberg also revealed that the car has only 30,000 miles on it.
