If there’s one thing that has been common for both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in 2022, it has to be underperformance. The duo of “1644” failed to meet the Max Verstappen challenge massively as their title challenge met with brutal reality. However, it is history now, and all they have to look for is to move forward. As the new season dawns, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton gear up to throw Max Verstappen off the throne, with the former counting in on the latter for the inclusive job.

During Ferrari’s livery launch at Maranello, the 25-year-old praised the seven-time world champion and hailed the Briton for his achievements in the sport. Leclerc told Sky Sports, “Lewis will never be out of the question for a championship fight. I’m pretty sure if he has the car, he will be there. We must not forget what he’s achieved in the sport and he still has it.”

Leclerc counted Hamilton in for the battle for supremacy against Max Verstappen in 2023. “We saw that many times last year. Lewis will be there, like Red Bull will be, too. And I hope it’s going to be a great fight,” further stated the Monegasque. Ferrari and Mercedes unveiled their 2023 challenger back-to-back on February 14 and 15.
