It looks like Red Bull did not have any answers to Mercedes’ pace at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. The German team were, on an average, 5km/h faster than their rivals on the straights. However, Red Bull advisor Dr. Helmut Marko the team does not have enough evidence to file a protest against their rivals.

That would be our very last resort: Helmut Marko
As reported by Sport.sky.de, Marko did not rule out the protest but stated that it would be the last resort. Wolff had given an open invitation in the post-race interview to Red Bull to protest against their new engine.
“That would be our very last resort. We would first try to have the parts that we believe are not compliant have to be changed. But we do not yet have enough facts to be able to proceed,” said Marko. (Translated via Google Translate)

“We are puzzling and have already called the Honda engineers to join us. If things continue like this, things will no longer look good for the World Cup,” said Helmut Marko worryingly.

Marko concluded he has not seen a faster engine in recent years than the recent Mercedes one. “We have not seen an engine like this from Mercedes in recent years. Unbelievable! They managed a masterpiece to conjure up such a rocket in such a crucial phase,” said Marko.
The newfound pace is a massive worry for the Austrian team with just three races to go. Out of the three races, it is predicted that two might suit the Mercedes car more than Red Bull, which would be a big blow in the constructor’s battle.
