The Azerbaijan Grand Prix was a memorable race for the 4-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel, as he achieved his first podium for Aston Martin. He soon came on to the team radio and laughed said, “Yes! yes yes yes, great job.”
Another team radio moment that is loved by the F1 community is when Vettel wished Sergio Perez for winning driver of the day. He said, “Felicidades or Feliz Navidad, or whatever you say to Checo.”
Kimi Raikkonen is known to have entertaining radio conversations, whether is it is about his drink or a time penalty. At the Bahrain Grand Prix, the Iceman went back and forth with his race engineer on whether he could hear him. In the end, Kimi got frustrated and said, “But you answer still.”
Lando Norris is known to have witty responses, and it was no different when he spun off the track. The McLaren driver lost control of his car and went onto the grass; his race engineer asked him if he had sustained any damage, to which Norris replied, “Talent.”
Lewis Hamilton showed his frustration for not having music in his car while waiting in the pitlane. He said, “We’re going to have music in this car. I can’t listen to that terrible beep.”
