Daniel Ricciardo smashes Carlos Sainz! As the lights went out at Imola, the Aussie managed to clip the back of Sainz’s Ferrari; yet again, the Spaniard faces an unlucky situation- one for which he was widely not responsible.
The track is not wide enough to accommodate the newer and much bigger cars. That is exactly why overtaking is such a mess in these situations.

Left stranded all by himself once again, Sainz faced a sad fate at Imola too. While the Tifosi expected so much from the Spaniard, it will be sad for the crowd to not see a Ferrari 1-2 finish. The beautiful F1-75 was smashed into a corner like a chokeslam from Ricciardo’s Mclaren that it barely could revive itself.

While Ricciardo quickly turned to the right and sneaked out onto the track again, Carlos’ car was too damaged. In fact, Valtteri Bottas’ rear wing also touched Ricciardo’s car and narrowly escaped the incident. Twitter has reacted to Sainz’s sad fate and obviously, the fans have a way of tweaking everything. Carlos could be heard saying, ” Daniel Hit me”.

The sad sight of this lovely Ferarri man leaving on the scooter has left the fans sad once again. While we heard Ricciardo saying, “They pushed me towards Sainz.” on the radio, the steward said no investigation was necessary.
Things are even worse for the Tifosi as Charles Leclerc also couldn’t make an amazing start. The Monegasque had been held up by the Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and his teammate Sergio Perez- who drizzled past everyone else. While Leclerc did manage to get past a McLaren, the run to the podium could be difficult for the driver.
