We know Sebastian Vettel as a kind-hearted person because of his kind deeds in public life. From helping clean stands after races to visiting patients and motivating NHS workers in hospitals, he has earned many praises from fans. But we were recently reminded that he is quite a romantic in his personal life.

Sebastian Vettel is going to retire from Formula 1 at the end of the current season. The fans will not just miss him for his racing prowess, but also for his crusade on various social issues. He recently took part in a mental health awareness video by Formula 1 on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.

Sebastian Vettel’s kind gesture for his wife had fans shedding a tear

Sebastian Vettel married his childhood friend Hanna Prater in 2019. The couple has three children. Sebastian and Hanna had two daughters, Emily and Mathilda before they welcomed a baby boy.

The 4-time world champion is quite a gentle person in his personal life. We were reminded of it through a recent post that surfaced on a fan account on Twitter. We can see Seb barefoot in the post, with his wife walking behind him wearing his shoes in snowy weather.

The caption read, “Sometimes I remember Seb walking barefoot in the snow so that his wife could take off her heels and wear his shoes instead and it makes me wanna cry.”

The Tweet invoked an emotional response from Vettel fans.

While the replies were different in words, a crying emoji was a common sight. Can’t say that is a rarity, though. Similar responses were seen when Seb recently visited patients and healthcare workers in a hospital.

Sebastian Vettel’s meets NHS staff and patients

In September this year, Sebastian Vettel visited Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he met NHS staff and patients at the National Spinal Injuries Centre. He witnessed firsthand how the patients go through their rehabilitation journey.

Sebastian appreciated the staff and commended the patients for their courage. The staff and patients had their photos taken with the Formula 1 great, which were posted on Twitter by the Aston Martin F1 team.

While Formula 1 will feel incomplete without Seb competing, we hope to see him back in some other capacity soon. If not that, fans would love to see him grace their feeds with his kind gestures every now and then.
