The worlds of Hollywood and Formula 1 have collided in the past. But not to this magnitude, though. As it turns out, Hemsworth is a massive F1 fan. And given the chance, Thor would wield Mjölnir in favor of only 1 driver!

On a recent episode of the Heavyweight podcast, Hemsworth was asked about F1 teams he knew about. He replied, “Look, the only one I’ve met is Red Bull, I love that [Max] Verstappen guy.” To which the host enquired further about his affinity to the 2x champion.

Hemsworth then revealed, “Yeah, at Marvel we all know him, we watched Suzuka 2022 at my house.”

That’s the race when Verstappen was crowned as the eventual 2022 F1 world champion and it turns out that Hemsworth and the Avengers assembled in his $30,000,000 mansion for the viewing party!

In a video that surfaced online, Verstappen and Hemsworth can be seen joking. When Verstappen told the fans that they had been doing pit-stop challenges amongst other activities, Hemsworth quipped, “I think I won.” To which Verstappen hilariously retorted, “You won for the cameras, I just won for the fans over here!”

Summing up the experience, Verstappen cheekily quipped, “Satisfied.”
