Both Red Bull and Williams are now names synonymous with Formula One. While the Bulls have been around only for 2 decades, Williams made its debut back in 1977 at the Spanish Grand Prix. According to recently surfacing stats, the Oxfordshire-based team has only won a single race since Red Bull made its debut. This has given the younger team enough time to catch up and overtake the veteran team.

Pastor Maldonado scored his one and only race win of his career with Williams in 2012 at the Spanish Grand Prix. Driving the FW34 to victory from the pole this was the only time the team scored since 2004, a year before Red Bull joined Formula One. Meanwhile, Red Bull maintained quickness on the track and in accumulating race wins ever since Sebastian Vettel brought home the first trophy at the Shanghai circuit in 2009.

Red Bull has consistently pushed into victory since Adrian Newey left Williams and eventually joined them. The Oxfordshire-based team has had a sudden downfall from which the team has yet to recover. With not a single race won in the last decade, the one-time championship-winning team needs a strong comeback to honor Sir Frank Williams and their dedicated fans. Max Verstappen’s dominance has made him win 10 races in a row, a record he is nearing soon.

After achieving his 100th podium though, Verstappen said, “Of course, I’m very happy with that, but I’m not really a guy looking at the stats, I’m just happy to hit 100.” Verstappen’s calm response might be surprising, but the Dutchman is focused on enjoying the sport and outperforming no one but himself. He has a strong drive and recently broke Michael Schumacher’s record for having a higher win rate.
