Novak Djokovic Grand Slammed his way into the Tennis history books yesterday. After a convincing victory over Casper Ruud during the finals of the 2023 French Open, the Serbian became the only man to hold 23 Grand Slams to his name. But in his moment of glory, celebrities and sporting stars all across the globe joined him. But the pick of them were two French Formula 1 drivers.

Both Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly were in attendance yesterday when Djokovic clinched his 23rd Grand Slam. All the attention was on the Serb, and deservedly so. However, in the aftermath of his jubilation, his daughter Tara stole the spotlight from her dad!

After having someone like Djokovic as your father, there isn’t much scope for being left star-struck, right? But for young Tara, Frenchman, Esteban Ocon was the reason why she seemingly embarrassed her father on, arguably, his greatest days of all.

Roland Garros posted the video of Ocon and Djokovic’s interaction on Instagram. After his win, Djokovic was rallying his daughter around as they bumped into Ocon. The two icons of the sporting world then had a chat where Ocon congratulated him and told him how much of an inspiration he was. The Alpine driver turned his attention to Tara then. But Djokovic’s daughter shied away when Ocon greeted her!

Visibly awestruck to meet the F1 driver, Djokovic had to step in. All he could muster was, “I’m sorry, that’s my daughter,” on tape.
