Spotted in Fernando Alonso’s Box in Abu Dhabi, Italian Model Flaunts F1 Connection With Kelly Piquet

Abu Dhabi has been the season finale for quite some time now. In fact, the race has been on the calendar for 14 years now, and every single season, the spectacle it provides is nothing short of breathtaking. While there were definitely some intense on-track battles, especially with the likes of Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso, and at some stages even Max Verstappen during the race, the off-track events definitely didn’t let the fans down either.

For instance, one of the guests in the Aston Martin garage was Italian Model, Ginevra Mavilla. The fashion influencer, donning her full Versace outfits, made a lot of appearances in Fernando Alonso’s box. She, along with Max Verstappen‘s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, flaunted the incredible fireworks that were on show during the race weekend.

As mentioned earlier, this was one race of the season that had it all. We had an intense fight for P2, P4, and P7 in the constructors’ championship; we had a four-way battle for P4 in the drivers’ championship; we had tactical wave-offs to rival cars, after penalties, to ensure the best results for the team, and many many other moments of brilliance on track. It is important to remember that Abu Dhabi is the last race of the calendar for a reason. Not only do they have spectacular skylines, fireworks, and celebrations, but the incredible nightlife that’s arranged there every single year is incredibly top-notch.

This, of course, was appreciated by both Kelly Piquet and the Italian model in Alonso’s box. Both of them took to Instagram, the former as a story, and the latter as a post, in awe of the spectacle the Middle Eastern country has put forth. It remains unknown if Fernando Alonso and Ginevra formally met during the race weekend, especially as his picture is notably absent from her post. However, Kelly Piquet and Ginevra did seem to spend quite some time together, as the latter posted a picture of them both sharing an elevator.

In her second appearance on the paddock, Ginevra Mavilla, the Italian model, enjoyed the full fan experience. She got up close and personal on the paddock, thanks to a promotional deal with Aston Martin, helping her enjoy a sport that she has enjoyed since her childhood. Her previous appearance at a Grand Prix weekend was in Monza, where she was once again a visitor of the Aston Martin paddock.

Aston Martin’s favorite Italian model

Ginevra filmed her previous experience as a Vlog, which she had uploaded on YouTube. Earlier this year, she was invited by the Aston Martin team to experience the Monza weekend with them. Not only did she enjoy the race, witness several pitstops up close and personal, and spend a lot of time with engineers, but she was also treated to several meals, (lunches and dinners), helicopter rides, and a ride along on the Monza circuit inside an Aston Martin road car.

Speaking about this experience, she said. “The experience has been nothing short of being one of a kind. I’ve been following F1 since I was a kid with my dad. Getting to experience all the behind-the-scenes of this is incredible.”

She also continues to list the things that really amazed her. “The Pit stops. The Garages. Seeing all the work behind the sport, all the people behind it, the organization, the catering. The shipping of the cars, the transfers from one country to another. It’s just wow.”
