Things are gathering pace and excitement at the newly formed Aston Martin F1. With their colors’ scheme now revealed and their drivers’ lineup already formalized, the team has also roped in a new title sponsor.

American multinational IT brand Cognizant has now partnered with the team to further its ambitions of global reach. As does Aston Martin regarding its own ambitions, who have now converted from their former identity of Racing Point.

An exciting component to engage fans and create a buzz in the Formula 1 community is the team’s car’s livery. Although it was scheduled for a February 2021 launch, a recent statement by the team indicates a possible launch further ahead.

Aston Martin F1 livery launch could now happen in March 2021

The statement on the website reads, “We couldn’t be more excited to finally reveal the first look at our new identity while setting out our vision for the journey ahead.

“The team will be known as Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team when it lines up on the starting grid for the new season.”

The launch event proposes to have the unveiling of their new livery alongside driver pairing Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll. But seemingly, this event would now take place in March and not in February as originally slated.

“In March, we’ll be unveiling our car livery to the world at Aston Martin’s global HQ in Gaydon, including the introduction to our driver line-up, featuring four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel and multiple Grand Prix podium finisher Lance Stroll,” concluded the statement.

Vettel-Stroll pairing could become one of the best partnerships on the F1 grid

Both drivers have a good amount of experience racing in the sport for some years now. Vettel, as we all know, is a four-time F1 champion and comes with great knowledge and race craft capable of winning races.

Under Vettel’s mentorship, it could bring out the best of Stroll as well. The young Canadian driver has shown great glimpses in his time in F1 with a few podium finishes, but is yet to win a Grand Prix.
