An exciting Qualifying session at the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix quickly turned into a nightmare for Aston Martin driver, Lance Stroll, his team, and all the fans in attendance. After a horrible first run, the Canadian was slowly running out of time to make it out of the session. With the track ramping up with each passing second, it was do or die for Stroll. Alas, he put ambition ahead of adhesion, and the result was a pretty gnarly crash.
The impact that Stroll’s AMR23 made with the barriers just out of the final corner was so intense, it took the wheel tethers out! What’s more? His car ricocheted across the track and Stroll’s head was seen violently shaking inside the cockpit after that 150+ MPH crash.
