Rewind to qualifying at the Singapore GP. In the twisty, narrow layout of the Marina Bay Circuit, a crash was bound to happen. Especially given how much F1 drivers push themselves to the limit during qualifying. The first driver to fall prey to the demands of Marina Bay was Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll. It was a big crash, and he made it out okay. Yes, he had to sit out the race because of it, but that didn’t stop fans from begging his father, Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll, to fire his son. Three weeks later, it’s happening again. And this time, it’s at the Qatar GP.

After what felt like a long time, Aston Martin’s AMR23 looked like it was reminiscent of its early 2023 days. At least in Fernando Alonso’s hands. With the Qatar GP being a Sprint weekend, there was only ever going to be one practice session. With Alonso toward the top of the timing charts, Stroll languished at the bottom. Considering the Lusail Circuit was just relayed, it’s practically new for the drivers in terms of feeling. And getting used to it would’ve been tough. Even so, given the positive signs the AMR23 showed in FP1, everyone expected Stroll to at least get to Q2, if not Q3. Well, you can imagine how that went.
After yet another Q1 exit, fans are back on Lawrence Stroll’s case. He may have invested $100 million to get his son an F1 seat, but given his performances, they don’t feel he deserves it. That wasn’t even the worst part. What infuriated fans was how he violently shoved his physical trainer after getting out of the car. It’s safe to say the last shred of respect they had for Lance is gone, and they want him out. They took to X to appeal to Lawrence once again.
Lance Stroll is “an awful person”
An F1 driver’s physical trainer is one of the people closest to them. They know them better than most others. Considering that, and the amount of effort they put in to make their driver as fit as possible, you would think drivers would respect their trainers. Well, most of them do, but Lance Stroll doesn’t. P1 with Matt & Tommy’s Matt Gallagher wrote on X, “Lance Stroll shoving his personal trainer out the way… So out of order.” Needless to say, fans piled on this.
For the past few months, there have been pleas to get Lance Stroll out of F1. His performances haven’t been up to the mark, and his behavior hasn’t been the best either. Basically, fans think he doesn’t deserve a seat in F1.
Doesn’t deserve to be in f1. He’s rubbish.

It takes some amount of talent to become an F1 driver. Lance has that, but it just isn’t enough. Should he actually consider a switch to tennis, seeing as he’s “done?”
Lance is done 😂🫡

F1 is a limited sport, and it’s highly competitive. Considering it’s just 20 drivers, people expect all of them to be at the top of their games. Most think Lance isn’t, and Aston Martin is just wasting that seat.
This guy doesn't deserve the position in AMR. It's high time that Lawrence take a decision and give the opportunity to others.
He's just a liability to the team.
Nepotism to the highest level.
Next year, they just can't repeat this.

Building on what Gallagher said about Lance pushing his trainer being “out of order,” a fan pointed out how Lance having a seat in F1 is out of order.
Lance Stroll racing is out of order

Following his rude behavior with his trainer, his interview wasn’t any better, with colorful language and monosyllabic responses.
Did you see his interview aswell 😭
