Mercedes has made a name in Formula 1 as the most dominating team in this era. However, the team is usually on top of things even when it comes to their social media handles. Usually, they’re the ones trolling, but this time, Aston Martin ended up trolling them.
Both the teams are sitting on some significant news. While Mercedes has been teasing the fans about Hamilton‘s contract, Aston Martin has also been messing with their fans when it comes to content on Sebastian Vettel.
The whole thing started when the Brackley team replied to Aston Martin’s tweet, stating they don’t follow the team on Twitter. The luxury British racing team pointed out to Mercedes that they are missing out on some important updates.

After this, the Brackley team asked the British team to upload Sebastian Vettel’s content. Aston Martin then taunted Mercedes and asked them to drop the official news on Hamilton’s contract negotiation.

Aston Martin is the newly rebranded Racing Point team, which was highly impressive this past season. The team displayed the biggest potential improvement in 2020. They finished the season in P4 position with 195 points as compared to P7 with 73 points in 2019.
The Brackley team’s power unit played an important role in achieving this feat. In 2021, Aston Martin comes with a vital tweak of the 2020 Mercedes‘ rear suspension. This particular upgrade was a key in Mercedes’ performance gains last year.
According to a report, “The 2021 Aston Martin will still essentially be the W10 copy so may not, in theory, be able to take as full advantage of the later suspension as the car that was designed around it.”

Racing Point has still not dropped an image of Sebastian Vettel in a green suit. Even Mercedes has made no announcement on Hamilton’s contract. Maybe we should start a petition and take it to the teams’ social media handles.
