With his answer as a contract renewal, it’s clear that Aston Martin and Alonso are ready to see where this goes, and knowing that in 2026, the engine will be powered by Honda, gives them confidence that they can do better in the upcoming years. The investment from the parent company instills confidence in the team’s direction, making Aston Martin one force to be reckoned with on the circuits. If they successfully bring in Verstappen and Newey, who knows what will happen with the team, maybe this becomes their first constructor’s championship title.
