During the Thursday pre-race weekend press conference, Aston Martin boss Otmar Szafnauer spoke of his drivers, discussing whether Sebastian Vettel was being a good mentor for Lance Stroll. So far, the two drivers have gotten along well and have been performing decently.
“Lance isn’t a rookie, he’s been with us for a while now and there’s a good dynamic between Lance and Sebastian. Sebastian does have more experience and the way we go about debriefs now has changed a bit.
“Sebastian has expanded the way we do things, not just Lance but the entire team have embraced that,” he said.

Meanwhile, poor old Sebastian Vettel barely missed out on a Top 10 when Daniel Ricciardo brought out the red flag.
Now, the two of them will have a lot to do ahead of Sunday’s race. They know that they need to do everything in their power to stay ahead of AlphaTauri and Alpine Racing.
