Charles Leclerc finishes P6! Max Verstappen laps Lewis Hamilton! Two Ferrari crashes! There was no end to the drama at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Leclerc, who was almost ready to take over Sergio Perez for P2, spun his car, damaged the rear, went to the pit, and lost places. After losing Sainz in the crash, this was the worst thing that could have happened for Ferrari.

Sad day for Charles Leclerc

The race left no stone unturned to provide drama. Pierre Gasly did not let Hamilton through at any point. And to salt Hamilton’s wounds, teammate George Russell finished 4th after a sensational return from the P11. However, the key subject was the Tifosi, who were left scarred. Forget about a 1-2, as they did not see a single Ferrari driver on the podium.

Charles Leclerc, in desperation to get past Sergio Perez, misjudged braking at one of the corners. Thankfully, the Monegasque escaped serious injuries or a DNF. But, after the spin, there was no coming back, as Leclerc settled for a lot lesser than he probably deserved. Sadly, after the race, Leclerc, disappointed, said, ” Well, I’m sorry, sorry you guys. Argh F***”.

Ferrari was not expecting this

In an obviously sad day for Ferrari, let’s see what the future holds for this team. They’ve lost considerable points and maybe did not manage the pressure that well. Maybe not changing Leclerc’s wing and tires at the end moment would have been a better decision? Maybe he could’ve managed on since the car wasn’t severely damaged? But who’s to know?
