Among the many exceptional qualities that make Lewis Hamilton a stupendous driver and, at the same time, a good human being is his ruthless winning habit, paired with his nature for standing up for the things he cares about. The 37-year-old is one of the very few F1 drivers who have used their position in F1 to educate the audience about various social issues and injustices. Jacky Ickx, a motorsports legend in his own way, recently praised Sir Lewis for the same.

The Belgian driver’s career spanned about two decades during which he won 6 Le Mans Races and 8 Formula 1 GPs. He pointed out 2 important aspects about the Briton that helped him become the superstar he is. Being a 7x champion, he is widely considered one of the greatest racing drivers to race in Formula 1. But let’s not forget, he has done a lot of good for the sport, taking it to the next level.
