It’s Taylor Swift’s world, and Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc are just living in it! After the British GP, they had some respite from their racing duties. So, the two F1 racers went to the popstar’s Eras Tour concert in Italy. They accompanied their girlfriends Alexandra Saint-Mleux and Kika Cerqueira to the San Siro Stadium for the event. And when both the Ferrari racer and the Alpine recruit joined the thousands of Swifties to enjoy the musical night, their videos went viral on social media.

Now, Leclerc and Gasly are back to racing since the Hungarian GP is around the corner. The two young talents participated in the press conference right before the weekend in Budapest kicked off. So, the interviewer, Tom Clarkson, turned to ask Gasly about his obsession with Taylor. The Frenchman revealed that he has become a fan of the American songstress. He also quipped up about his chance encounter with Charles Leclerc at the concert.

Riding on the ‘Swiftie’ wave, Gasly and Leclerc visited Taylor Swift’s Italy concert. And while speaking about how he has now turned into a fanboy for the ‘Blank Space’ star, Pierre Gasly said as per FIA, “Well, I guess I am [a Swiftie] now. We are, with Charles here. I must admit, it was an incredible experience. I’ve never seen and heard such an energy in a stadium.” Then, the 28-year-old also shared the exciting moment when he unknowingly came across his colleague from Ferrari at the concert.

Gasly continued, “Actually, we didn’t even talk with Charles before the concert. And it turned out we ended up in the same place, in the same area, without letting each other know. So it was pretty cool. And yeah, a good night. A good night.” Upon returning from the Eras Tour show, Pierre took to his official Instagram page and shared a few snaps from there. Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce commented on Gasly’s post and gave his approval.

Taylor Swift might be a universal star in her own right, but she is also currently dating NFL star Travis Kelce. And interestingly, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has a connection to Formula 1. Last year, he joined a group of investors who bought a stake at Alpine for $210 million. Naturally, he follows Pierre Gasly on Instagram as he is a recruit of the Enstone outfit.

So, when Travis Kelce came across Gasly’s post showing pictures from Taylor Swift’s concert, he had to comment. The 34-year-old wrote “Yessir!!!” to show his approval and also gave some fire emojis. Kelce himself recently made it to his girlfriend’s concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. This was his twelfth appearance at an Eras Tour show. He had started dating Swift publicly back in September last year.

Now that the F1 circus is back after a 2-week-long break, Pierre Gasly has some to serve some redemption. This is because the French racer DNF’ed at the British GP and had to exit the race with zero points. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc got an underwhelming P6 finish in Silverstone. Thus, for both of them, the upcoming Hungarian GP will be an opportunity to prove themselves.
