Lewis Hamilton is about to breathe the air in Maranello. After the 7x world champion’s Ferrari transfer, Tifosi eagerly awaits seeing him in red gear. The squad’s excitement isn’t hidden either. Fred Vasseur shows his joy occasionally, while Charles Leclerc actively seeks a new bromance. The icon he grew up watching will soon drive the same car as him. If this isn’t great news, then what is?

Moving a step ahead, Charles Leclerc has not just welcomed the legend, but he’s also sending a strong clear for everyone out there. Focused solely on the World Champion title, the Monegasque will even show mercy to the F1 Ace. But overall, a great symbiosis is expected from the duo, as their aim is the same – reviving Ferrari’s glory.

Ferrari’s ‘Golden Boy’, Charles Leclerc had the most candid conversation with Gentleman’s Journal. The Monegasque’s priority is the World Championship; a task Leclerc is more focused on than before. However, he now faces a tough challenge with Lewis Hamilton as his new teammate in 2025. In the interview, Charles opened up about his thoughts on Hamilton’s transfer. “It’s going to be incredible to have Lewis on the team,” the Ferrari No.1 said, looking slightly flustered.

He then shared that with Hamilton in the team, great learning opportunities will open up for Leclerc. More importantly, competing alongside the legend will show, “what I’m capable of.” Thus he is looking forward to it. However, will the Ferrari No.1 show mercy on his new teammate? “No, of course not,” he said, clinically. “No, no, no – when I’m putting the helmet on, then there’s none of this anymore. You change, you don’t think about who is who and you just go for it.”

Leclerc finally adds, “Now I’m racing Lewis, so I’ve got to forget a little bit the names that are inside the paddock, and just focus on my performance whenever I’m on track.” While Charles is aware of the weight ‘the’ Sir Lewis carries with him, he cannot ignore the fact that at the end of the despite being teammates they’re going to be competitors fighting for the title. So, the 26-year-old will be keeping aside names and focusing on his performance.

And while Charles Leclerc is sowing the seeds of bromance for Lewis Hamilton, his current teammate Carlos Sainz is also up to something similar. The Spaniard, who is enjoying his summer break has already ignited bromance with his future teammate Alex Albon.

Two of the most formidable drivers in F1 – Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are pairing up to bring back Williams’ glory in 2025. After months of suspense and unsaid drama, Sainz finally announced his new team last week. And it looks like the two ‘appendix-less’ drivers are going to be together for the first time in F1. So, the Smooth Operator took the opportunity to share, verify rather, the great news. He shared a post on his X handle, stating: Appendix-less team @alex_albon @WilliamsRacing”

Recently Sainz also revealed Alex Albon’s kindness towards him, when he returned to his cockpit post-appendix surgery. Carlos shared how Albon was there in the Ferrari garage throughout, to make sure, Sainz was comfortable and didn’t hurt his wounds. Having experienced the same thing before, Albon’s help and kindness touched the Spaniard’s heart. Therefore, one thing could be confirmed: Sainz and Albon are going to be a great team. Their dedication to the sport will play an important role in turning Williams‘ fate.

So, while Charles is preparing to welcome Lewis Hamilton soon, Carlos is declaring his special pairing with the Thai driver. However, the ‘silly’ season continues. Both Hamilton and Sainz first need to complete their duties for their current teams before shifting. And as Leclerc sits third on the driver’s standings, all eyes would be on him to see if he can take the 2nd spot back from Lando Norris and eventually dethrone Max Verstappen.
