While Max Verstappen is a Red Bull Star, his career at the Milton Keynes-based team started with controversy when he replaced Daniil Kvyat mid-season during 2016. However, the Red Bull seat isn’t the only thing that connects Kvyat and Verstappen. The Russian also happens to be the biological father of Kelly Piquet’s daughter Penelope. Kelly ended her relationship with Kvyat in 2019 and started seeing Verstappen in 2020. 

Kelly Piquet recently uploaded pictures from her daughter’s first Ballerina performance. The caption suggested that she would not have missed the moment for anything. Despite the performance being a special moment, Max Verstappen wasn’t present. But guess who made it to the event? It was Daniil Kvyat. In the pictures uploaded by Kelly, Penelope’s father could be seen in the background as Kelly kisses her daughter on the cheeks. While Penelope stays with her mother, Kvyat just could not miss this special moment.

However, Kelly Piquet’s choice to go see her daughter’s ballerina performance meant she missed out on the opportunity to attend Louis Vuitton’s latest event. Nevertheless, Kelly did apologize for her absence at the event.

Kelly Piquet makes an apology to Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton 

Everyone expects Kelly Piquet to show up at all the major fashion events. Not only is she the face of Vogue, but also Max Verstappen’s girlfriend. However, Kelly couldn’t make it to the event and she posted an apology on her Instagram story. The Brazilian Model shared Louis Vuitton’s reel from the event and tagged Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton, apologizing for not making it to the event.

The event was Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring Summer Show 2024. It was historic in the sense that for the first time, Pharrell Williams’ collection was released in collaboration with LV. While Kelly couldn’t make it, many stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, Lewis Hamilton, Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, and Jay Z made it to the event.
