Given his stature in motor racing, Lewis Hamilton has made quite a lot of friends with celebrities around the world. We see that through his social media posts or posts of the who’s who of the world. Then come the US-based fixtures of F1 and it looks like all the stars have come down from the sky to lend their support to the Briton. Something similar happened last year at the Miami GP when Lewis had the likes of Michael Jordan, Michelle Obama, Pharrell Williams, Tom Brady, and Karlie Kloss rooting for him. Karlie has now started a unique initiative for trans youth and has her good friend’s total backing.

When it comes to activism against any type of discrimination, Hamilton has never shied away from voicing his opinion. Given how tough his upbringing was, often enduring racial abuse, the issues of equality and inclusivity are very close to his heart. He revealed how he believes his role in this world is much beyond just racing in a recent interview with Jay Shetty. Furthering his commitment to it, he recently shared a story on his Instagram, lending support to Karlie’s initiative.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel is running a campaign called ‘Kode With Klossy’. She is currently inviting applications from young women, non-binary and trans youth between the ages of 13 and 18, for free 2-week coding camp classes. Entries close at the end of this month and no prior experience in the field is required. Given how sensitive Lewis is towards the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, he shared Karlie’s post through his Instagram story.

This is not the only instance showing how close Karlie and Lewis are. The American supermodel once invited fans’ fury as her support for Hamilton went a little overboard.

When Karlie Kloss upset the rivals of Lewis Hamilton

Being an A-list celebrity and a friend of Lewis, Kloss had access to the pit lane during the Miami GP last year. She put out posts of her posing with different F1 cars during the parade. It was her different responses to the Mercedes and Red Bull cars that caught fans’ attention.

While standing in front of Mercedes’ W13, Karlie let out a loud “Let’s go Lewis!” cheer. However, when she posed in front of the Red Bull car, she gave a thumbs down to the camera with a text that read, “Can’t even remember the last time I had a @redbull.”

That did not go down well with Red Bull fans and she was subjected to some heavy trolling.
