What is the first word that comes to your mind when you hear the word Schumacher? We guarantee that it’s either F1 or Ferrari. The 7X world champion is arguably the greatest driver to grace the tarmac. Mick Schumacher, his son, had big boots to fill in. Unfortunately, his first stint in F1 was short-lived. Now, $1.4 billion worth giants have made an offer to Mick Schumacher who is believed to be leaving F1. But what is the offer?
Mick Schumacher was booted from the Haas F1 team at the end of last year. The German had loads of pressure and wasn’t able to perform very well. He was then given a roof by Toto Wolff who advised that Haas and Guenther Steiner mistreated Schumacher. Nonetheless, he’s the Mercedes reserve driver as of now. However, recent speculations advise that Schumacher might as well be on his way out of F1.

It is believed that Mick Schumacher has been contacted by Alpine. And no, it’s not for an F1 seat but for a possible Le Mans entry. Bild.de advises that the German is speculated to be invited to test drive an LMDh [Le Mans Daytona h] prototype by the French stable. Motorsport Aktuell believes that Schumacher might become part of the $1.4 billion team’s sports car program and leave F1 altogether.

However, Schumacher isn’t going to give up on his F1 dream so early. The same could be heard in his words at the Canadian GP and the German driver expressed his desire for an F1 return.

Mick Schumacher is “working very hard” to get a full-time F1 seat
Rumors have been going around of Mick Schumacher being in contact with teams regarding a future F1 possibility. He was frequently linked to Williams. At the Canadian GP, Mick Schumacher was asked about his F1 future and if he has contacted any teams regarding the same. He advised how he’s working on it and will be back in F1 in the near future.

According to Formu1a.uno, Mick Schumacher said, “Basically, I believe every team is a good option. I’m always ready for action. Believe me; I’m working very hard to be back in a car soon. Very soon, next year at the latest. That should be the time for me again. I’m sure something will happen in the near future. Watch that!”
