Following a recent resurgence in form, it seems like AlphaTauri is going to end the 2023 F1 season on a positive note. Often, the Faenza-based squad goes under the radar in terms of limelight in the sporting and commercial aspects of F1. However, with the Las Vegas Grand Prix approaching soon, this narrative may change. While there is an upturn in the Red Bull sister team’s performance; a recent $26 billion Japanese giant’s star deal with Yuki Tsunoda and Co. is already making some paddock noises. Fans couldn’t keep their excitement as just a few days before Vegas, AlphaTauri may start the party already.

AlphaTauri’s struggles this season have been quite visible as their difficulty in scoring points has not gone unnoticed. With only 21 points this season, it’s clear that the team is not where it truly should be, which is challenging the McLaren and Aston Martin. Moreover, Daniel Ricciardo’s absence in the mid-season was also not something that helped the team out.

However, the recent pace of AlphaTauri has been positive, especially since the Mexican Grand Prix, where Ricciardo had a race to remember. But with the Las Vegas GP approaching, it seems like further positive outcomes await for the team. All thanks to a deal for Yuki Tsunoda and his team, with Gundam.

Yuki Tsunoda’s recent deal with Gundam leaves the social media fans jaw-dropped!

Ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, a recent announcement that has the fans going wild is the collaboration of Gundam with Yuki Tsuonda and AlphaTauri. Not only has this news come out of nowhere, but has also left die-hard fans of it, with many reacting on a Reddit post with the video of the collaboration. If you didn’t know, Gundam is a Japanese multimedia franchise that centers around giant mecha robots.

“I need that “Wassup, race fans” as an alarm sound for when the race begins.” – This fan hilariously points out the way Tsunoda addresses the racing fans. With a strong personality, a habit of having a big mouth, and getting more comfortable in front of the camera, perhaps he is destined to be a content creator, after his stint at F1.

“I have never been more hyped for Vegas than i am now, they even showed my girl Suletta in the promo” It is definitely some marketing genius from AlphaTauri & Red Bull to drop this news right before the Vegas GP. What could be a huge weekend for the sport, in terms of the show, Gundam & AlphaTauri could earn some huge visibility!

“I love everything about this. Also insanely unexpected collab lol” – Just like all the fans, this comment highlights how much the fans truly love this collaboration. Yes to more deals like this, please! And Yes, this is truly one of the most unexpected collaborations ever! I highly doubt that anyone predicted this to happen.

“Reminds me of Red Bull and Superman Returns, or Brawn GP and Terminator.” – This comment by a fan has clearly not forgotten the odd collaboration between Red Bull and Superman during the 2006 season, and the partnership between Brawn GP and the Terminator Salvation back in 2009.

“He says it with such PASSION” – Considering that he is Japanese and Gundam also happens to originate from Japan, perhaps he feels proud of this deal. Moreover, considering that Gundam is valued roughly at $26 Billion, his parents are certainly going to be proud with their son for collaborating with such an iconic Japanese brand.

“Yuki as Amuro? I’d have thought him more like Kamille. Guess I’m all in for AT for one race at least. Give us some Newtype space magic, Yuki.” – This fan goes into total nerd mode as their inner geek is certainly happy to see this deal. So much so that this fan is even willing to support AlphaTauri for at least one race!

“If Yuki is Kamille, Danny should be his Quattro.” – A somewhat perfect comparison by a fan in this comment. Kamille and Quattro are some of the most famous characters from the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. They both also happen to be the pilots of Gundam mobile suits, and ultimately become good friends, despite their vastly different backgrounds.
