However, with a recent revelation, the Honey Badger may have taken a dangerous detour!
We already know the fate others have suffered who’ve dared to bring the wrath of the Swifties upon them. But even with the whole Balde-Bellingham incident in hindsight, Ricciardo has actually ditched his self-proclaimed Swift fandom, and the timing couldn’t have been worse.

In a recent video, that went viral on Instagram, Ricciardo was captured doing his best Taylor Swift impression while humming the words to Swift’s classic ‘Our Song’. However, with 20-year-old American music sensation, Olivia Rodrigo entangled in a spat with Swift, Ricciardo may have shifted allegiances.

In his latest post on Instagram where he revealed the scars from his surgery, Ricciardo posted a video of himself jamming religiously to Rodrigo’s fan-favorite mega-hit ‘Drivers License’. This would not have gone down too well with the Swifties.
But how has Ricciardo committed the ultimate sin by posting a post-workout jam session?
Ricciardo betrays fans’ trust
As it turns out, Ricciardo’s revelation about how much he enjoys Rodrigo’s music has come out at a very ill-opportune time. As things stand, the duo the Swift and Rodrigo are entangled in a grudge fight, and it all stems from Rodrigo’s latest song ‘The Grudge‘.
We have to allow Olivia to write about her feelings just like we always have let Taylor.

Cosmopolitan reported, “In July 2021, reports surfaced that songwriting credits on Olivia’s track “Deja Vu” were given to Taylor, Jack Antonoff, and St. Vincent as she revealed the song was inspired by Lover’s “Cruel Summer. Since then, she has split 50 percent of the royalties on the smash hit with Taylor, Jack, and St. Vincent, potentially losing out on millions of dollars.”
“If the song really is about the situation outlined above, then it makes sense that a young artist would feel betrayed by an industry vet she’s admired for a long time.”
