As Daniel Ricciardo recovers from his injury, the Australian has a lot of time on his hands during his rehab. The Australian is working tirelessly toward his comeback. However, during his efforts, like every normal human being, even the professional veteran F1 driver needs a distraction. So during his downtime, the AlphaTauri man used his time effectively to give his fans what they needed, a slice of the life of Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian shared his three favorite songs currently, and it included a reunited Blink-182 song. To everyone’s surprise, the song wasn’t the chartbuster One More Time.

Blink-182 is an American rock band formed back in 1992. The hugely popular band has seen its ups and downs, but after multiple separations, the band came back together in 2021. The Blink trio is in the midst of releasing their new album called One More Time. The band has only released three songs from the album, but the song with the same name as the album has gained a lot of popularity.

The song One More Time is #1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart. However, in Ricciardo’s top three that he shared on his Instagram story, reshared on X, the chartbuster did not make the list.

In fact, the Australian preferred another song from the same album called More Than You Know. The Australian was perhaps related to the song better than Blink-182’s heartfelt One More Time. To each their own, right?

However, apart from More Than You Know, Ricciardo also included Candflips! by 347 Aidan and Heartbeat by Autograf, Alex Schulz. Although, this isn’t the first time Ricciardo has showcased his love for music.

Daniel Ricciardo opened an alternate career path back in the 2022 summer break with an on-road talent show

Long before Ricciardo was eyeing the second Red Bull seat, he was worrying about his future in F1. The Australian was in the midst of a lot of uncertainty in regard to his future with McLaren during the 2022 summer break. However, before his biggest fear came true and McLaren revealed their harsh decision on his future, the Australian used every trick in the book to take his mind off of things.

This is when Ricciardo showcased the other side of his talents behind the wheel. Ricciardo posted a video of him driving and singing along to 3 AM by Matchbox Twenty. The Australian captioned the video, “A classic. A bit of a heart melter. It’s 3 am.”

The band came across the video. They liked it. In fact, they loved it enough to repost it on Twitter. Moreover, not only did they love the video, but they loved Ricciardo’s voice as well. So what did they do about it? The band offered him an alternate career path.

The band’s official X account, along with reposting Ricciardo’s video, offered him an opportunity in the caption. The caption read, “If you’re ever looking for a side gig outside of @F1, let us know @danielricciardo!”

Luckily for Red Bull, they offered him the role on the team when they did. Who knows, Ricciardo could’ve been on the road singing songs and entertaining people right about now.
