2023 couldn’t have started off on a better note for Fernando Alonso. After having the distinct privilege of starting yet another year as a Formula 1 driver, he suddenly became one with comparable machinery. It took almost a decade for that to materialize for him, and he’s taken full advantage of the fact as he fights for the top three spots in the championship this year. The 2x champion is rumored to be in a relationship with Journalist, Melissa Jiménez who works for DAZN. The Spanish duo have been rumored to be seeing each other romantically, and Alonso’s presser just before the Hungarian Grand Prix would’ve made her a very happy woman.

During the Thursday press conference, Alonso was asked, “If you had to stop racing tomorrow, what would you do?” by a journalist in attendance. To which the Spaniard cheekily retorted and winked, “Journalist.”

Then I won the two championships, and I thought – I will race maybe one or two more years. Now I find myself with the longest career ever in F1, and I’m still fresh, still motivated, still enjoying every single day. So yeah, there’s a few more years for me, and hopefully with a title contender in the future.”
