Lewis Hamilton has started his preparations for the 2022 season. The 7-time world champion is determined and motivated to win back the title that he lost at the season finale in Abu Dhabi last year. It was a difficult time for him to lose a championship in such a controversial manner in a race that he had dominated from start to finish.

He took a step back and spent some time with his friends and family to unwind. One of Hamilton’s biggest supporters is his brother Nicholas. In the latest post he shared on Instagram, fans can see Nicholas sitting in the new Mercedes W13. Hamilton penned down his emotions and reflected on his brother’s contributions.

“I think ultimately a sport that I’ve loved my whole life. There was a moment when I lost a little bit of faith within the system. Of course, I think at the end of seasons, the question is whether you’re willing to commit the time, the effort, that it takes to be a world champion,” said Lewis.

“The question is, do you want to sacrifice the time? Do you believe you can continue to punch at the weight that you’re punching? And so that’s a normal mental process for me. But of course, this one was compounded by a significant factor,” reflected the 7-time world champion.
