The Williams Racing Team now stands at the dawn of the morning they have dreamt of for a long time. Ex-Williams Boss, Jost Capito, had stated that once they realized that a P10 in the championship became inevitable, they switched focus towards the development of their 2023 car. A very exciting driver lineup is ready to take on a new challenge for the next season. Williams academy graduate, Logan Sargeant, lines up next to Alex Albon in 2023. A well-built car and drivers worthy enough to wield it is exactly what the team needs at this juncture.

The Thai driver is already very keen on working with his new teammate. “I want the two of us to work together to speed up development,” Albon said to MotorsportTotal.com. “And to do that, Logan also needs to be brought up to speed in terms of his development so that he’s able to give feedback and push in the areas where we need to push.
Alex Albon recently signed a multi-year contract with his team. Now that his place in the team and on the grid is safe, he intends to work towards the development of the car. “I’ve focused most of the time on surviving in Formula 1 or focusing on the performance side,” said the Thai driver.

The 2022 campaign saw the team make strides in the right direction after a disastrous run over the years. Alexander Albon was the flag bearer of this much-needed change in the team after George Russell’s exit. To add to that, he repeatedly out-qualified his Canadian teammate in 2022 and proved his mettle.
Williams was lauded for their performances throughout the season, with their name popping up several times on the speed trap as well. Williams built a car decent enough for the straight lines, but the struggle still continued. However, only one of the two drivers was showcasing performance, which kept the team afloat. Nicholas Latifi, constantly lining up at the bottom of the grid and with only a single occasion of a point finish, weighed down the team constantly.
