So, the former Red Bull driver decided to take on a barber role and dye people’s hair red like his. Further, team principal Jost Capito and the Sky Sports presenter David Croft became the first customers for barber Albon.
After looking at Albon’s performance since dying his hair red, an F1 fan suggested that Mercedes should dye their drivers’ hair. It might bring some fortune to the Brackley base, who are struggling this season. So, the reigning constructor champion considered it and asked, “What color tho?”
To this, the fans suggested various colors, and Alpine F1 suggested Blue and Pink hair.
Personally, we think blue and pink is a rather fetching combo 😇

Alex Albon’s reason for turning his hair red
Albon didn’t want to spend another season on the sidelines with Red Bull, so he joined Williams, filling the vacant seat of George Russell. After entering the English team, Albon came across team principal Jost Capito. Soon the Williams boss found a connection to the Thai driver as Capito’s brother, Volker, also lives in Bangkok.
During their travel to Melbourne for the Australian GP, the Thai driver decided to make a pit stop in his home country and meet Volker Capito. There, Albon even accompanied Capito to visit an orphanage that Volker looks after.

At the orphanage, Albon came across young kids and got inspired by their positivity. Later, Alex got to know that the kids dye their hair on special occasions. So he dyed his hair red, a color which is considered lucky in many parts of Asia. It seems the lucky color actually brought good fortune to Albon.
