After being rushed to the hospital following the crash, Albon became a doubt for the upcoming Austrian GP. The back-to-back races put the Williams man in a tight corner, much like his crash. However, the Thai driver was back in the team’s simulator by Wednesday, clearing all doubts.
“On my side, I feel pretty much back to normal,” said Albon and added, “Obviously, it can sound quite dramatic when people go to hospital. But, to reassure everyone, I just went for precautionary checks. It’s standard procedure, really.”
