Four-time world champion Alain Prost needs no introduction in the world of F1. The legendary French driver competed in the premier motor sporting competition for 13 years. Prost held the record for most wins in F1 until Michael Schumacher surpassed the Frenchman in 2001. As of 2022, two more drivers have surpassed Prost, however, his record from 1993 still puts him in fourth on the list of all-time race winners, above his arch-rival, Ayrton Senna.

Prost soon moved on to Ferrari from Mclaren after winning the championship. Things did not go according to plan as Ferrari parted ways with him before the end of the 1991 season. And after a year on the sidelines, Prost returned to the sport in the 1993 season driving for Williams. He won his fourth world championship title at Williams and ended his career on a high as retired as a driver.
