Lando Norris is regarded by many as a future World Champion. He has also been widely tipped to replace Lewis Hamilton in Mercedes. However, he and McLaren have endured a tough season – both on and off the grid. With all the drama surrounding their two Australian drivers – current and future, they will be praying for the season to end as quickly as possible.
Lando Norris does not feel the same way though. The McLaren driver said it has been a tough season, but not as bad as people claim.

In a recent interview, Lando Norris talks about how strong Max Verstappen is, and his comments about giving the trophy to Max already.
When asked about Max’s dominance, Norris said, “Oh it’s a little bit too much, this hurts us”
“Because he can wake up and going, ahh, oh I have to finish first today, I need to go on the podium again and spray champagne. Whereas I’m like, Oh I need to try and finish in top 15”
He further reviewed the season, stating it’s not been bad but definitely worse than last year.
Lando Norris explains how winning in Formula 1 is a ‘different’ feeling
Lando Norris might not have won a Formula 1 race yet, but the Briton explains how it is different from other racing events. The 22-year-old driver presumes how drivers in F1 might get only one chance to win a race in their career.
He said, “I think other categories, everyone has more chances of winning. In Formula 1, sometimes you have one chance ever of winning, so then you kind of cherish that little moment a little bit more.”

He hopes he does not get just one chance of winning the race. “Hopefully I don’t have one chance, hopefully I have many,” said the McLaren driver.
However, Lando does not feel his first F1 win is coming anytime this year. He dismisses his chances of winning a GP in this McLaren car.

Lando Norris will be hoping for some big changes in the car next year which gives him a fighting chance. After what has been an underwhelming season, Norris hopes to come back stronger next year. McLaren is currently 24 points behind Alpine in the Constructors table in 5th place.
