One of the quickest drivers on the grid, Lando Norris, displays driving skills far mature for his age. The 23-year-old is one of the most sought-after drivers on the grid. He has already rejected Red Bull and is often tipped by fans to replace Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes when the 37-year-old hangs up his helmet. However, racing is not Lando Norris’ only forte.

He started his own photography account on Instagram and inspired Daniel Ricciardo to do the same. Furthermore, the McLaren driver is a keen golf enthusiast and loves DJing in clubs in his spare time.

Norris hasn’t had the best of years, despite finishing with his second-highest points tally in F1. McLaren finished P5 in the WCC and Lando Norris fell from P6 to P7 in the WDC from last year.

Additionally, his split from his girlfriend Luisinha Oliveira added to his misery. The couple went public with their relationship in January this year through an Instagram post.

But now, Lando seems to have moved on from his ex-girlfriend as he shared a picture of his new “bae” on his Instagram story. However, it’s not what you think.

He captioned his story, “Me and Bae” referring his golf kit in the passenger seat as his bae.

The Papaya team will hope for Lando and new recruit Oscar Piastri to hit the ground running next season. While finishing above Alpine will be their goal, they will also look to challenge the giants at the top.

Lando Norris says one podium finish isn’t “enough” for him

After a disappointing season, McLaren’s Lando Norris has made it clear to the team that one podium finish does not suffice the Briton. Norris finished P3 in Imola behind Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez of Red Bull.

Lando Norris mentioned, “A podium always means something. It means something to me, it means something to the team, but one isn’t enough. One is like ‘we got lucky’ – you want to feel like you deserve to be there every time. We deserve to be there for sure, [but] we weren’t quick enough to be there.”

He further stated, “One time isn’t enough for me. It’s not a good enough job by the whole team and again, all of that is down to the car we’ve had. So everyone’s working hard now, everyone knows that, it’s not like it’s a new thing.”

Norris will want to challenge for podiums and race wins from next season onward. The 23-year-old came ever so close to winning his maiden race in Russia last year. However, it wasn’t to be as rain snatched away his win in the dying stages.
