F1 finally brings the biggest fan festival to the Japanese GP

Drivers often say that Suzuka is a ‘Driver’s circuit’. Well, F1 racing is a fans’ biggest retreat in Japan. And after teasing a fan festival back in 2019, it’s 4 years later that the sport has finally confirmed what the fans are in for at the 2023 Japanese GP.
Back in 2019, a Liberty Media spokesperson revealed, “We’ve enjoyed great success with the Fan Festivals this year and we’re looking to create a broader programme next year. We are looking to visit Tokyo and Milan, and we are aiming to put on events in Germany and the USA, though the locations there are yet to be confirmed.”
It’s taken a while, but the festival now comes to Tokyo. But what can the Japanese fans expect from the festivities?

“Set to make an appearance is home favourite Yuki Tsunoda, along with two-time world champion Max Verstappen and his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, as well as Alpine’s race-winning driver, Esteban Ocon,” read Formula1.com’s update about the Tokyo fan festival.
