It is already a weekend for the people of Canada to remember. For the first time since 1954, a Canadian has won the RBC Canadian Open golf tournament. The man to break the long dry spell is Nick Taylor. The 35-year-old native Canuck broke the deadlock and earned himself a cool $1.62 million because of it. Taylor has given the Canadians plenty to celebrate, but there is one man who can add to the celebrations, especially because of the timing of it all. The one man that can add to the happiness of the entire nation is Lance Stroll.

The Formula 1 Canadian GP is right around the corner with the weekend approaching. According to the journalist Peter Windsor, as he revealed on his YouTube channel, Stroll can add to the celebrations by securing his first race win.

Stroll is yet to beat Fernando Alonso in any of the races so far in the season. Most would understand this scenario with the difference in quality between the two drivers. However, Windsor believes Stroll can win the race with the support he has from Aston Martin.

“Well, it’s not impossible. I mean he’s not bad in dreary conditions and his Aston Martin is probably the third maybe the fourth-best car. He’s got a better car than Fernando, I don’t know, probably! He’s got the best car there. He’s got the third-best car in Formula 1 behind the two Red Bulls so with all that, he’s not half bad and he could lock into a win,” he explained.
