This year has been a very successful one for Red Bull. They’ve emerged as the most dominant F1 team with arguably the best fastest car design this season. Everyone in the F1 community has been in admiration of the upgrades the team has made on their machine throughout the season.
With having bagged a phenomenal total of sixteen wins this season, most teams might try and adopt the Red Bull way of going about their cars for the upcoming F1 season. However, the Bulls are convinced that the rivals would not adopt their concept.

According to the chief engineer at Red Bull, Paul Monaghan, the rival cars may hold the possibility to resemble the Red Bull look, however, he strongly believes that no one would go on to adopt their car.

And as he further dive into evolving designs, the budget cap will play a big role in the upcoming season.
Paul Monaghan believes that the budget cap will affect the Red Bull design
While Paul is confident that most teams won’t adopt the dominant Red Bull RB18 style, he also emphasized how the budget cap will end up playing a big role in all this.
He said, “I think the budget cap will mean that people have been working on ideas that they haven’t been able to bring to the job. And that’s why we might see some differences at the beginning of the year.”

Referring to the Flexi floor regulations, he stated that these rules define and dictate the design and form of the car. And having had these new regulations executed this year, it drastically changed the way the cars were designed.
He concluded by saying that next season, there will be ‘new adjustments’ yet again. However, that would result in different solutions for each team.
